Getting married abroad can work out much cheaper than having a wedding at home as fewer people are generally involved and you get to honeymoon in an exotic location too. Most hotels can arrange for you to get married in a choice of locations within the hotel grounds or they may have a wedding gazebo.

If your heart is set on getting married on the beach check if this will be legal in your chosen destination. Ask about the time of day you can get married, it is important to consider how hot it will be and for this reason most couples tend to get married in the morning or late afternoon just before sun down. If you're keen to get married on a certain date check well in advance that this date is definitely available. Dates often change for several reasons so its worth waiting until you get home before you have anything engraved with your wedding date.
